Q3 2024 saw a continuation of impressive global growth from international Coldwell Banker operations. Domestically, the brand opened in three key markets and retained important franchise partners, while its franchisees recruited major players and acquired companies to shore up their own growth efforts.

New Markets and Major Recruiting Efforts Domestically

Coldwell Banker Affiliates welcomed three companies in third quarter, highlighting its continued focus on growth:

• Coldwell Banker Commercial Drew Warne Advisory Group, in Missoula, MT has just celebrated its first month of operations. During this time, owner John Drew has focused on strengthening recruitment efforts and deepening his engagement with the local community. Originally from Atlanta, GA, John brings over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate, positioning him for great success in this new market.
• Coldwell Banker DHH Realty, in Murphysboro, IL was founded by a former Coldwell Banker agent, Rae Hanna, who valued the brand so much that she started her own franchise while also managing a historic bed and breakfast. Rae is a known, established agent who is not only versed in both residential and commercial real estate but also has extensive experience in property management. Adding to her impressive resume, Rae was recently awarded a seat on the BNI (Business Networking & Referral Organization). She is very focused on growth and has invested substantially in advertising, including in high-visibility billboards in her market.
• Coldwell Banker Weaver Group Realty, Hernando Beach, FL has demonstrated remarkable resilience in their first three months, successfully navigating two devastating hurricanes in their market since launching on July 29^th. Broker/Owner Tom Dishman maintains a positive outlook despite these challenges and is focused on growth and recruiting efforts.

Along with our efforts to grow the company through conversions, our existing affiliated companies have been leveraging the Coldwell Banker value proposition to grow their companies organically. Coldwell Banker Apex, Realtors, a Chairman’s Circle company based in Texas and Louisiana recruited two major teams to their firm. In Shreveport, Louisiana, their office is joined by the Mike & April Moore Team who is #2 in Bossier City/Shreveport market. Not to be outdone, the Coldwell Banker Apex office in Rockwall County, Texas will have the top team in the county, the Dee Evans Group, now representing the Blue. The Dee Evans Group closed $90 million in sales in 2023.

Lori Arnold, Broker/Owner of Coldwell Banker Apex, Realtors, notes “These are two amazing teams that dominate in their markets and are excited to be representing Coldwell Banker in those respective markets. Both had worked for independent firms and saw the value of the Coldwell Banker brand, tools, and platform to provide more offerings to the clients they represent.” Ms. Arnold also added that when analyzing the experienced agents who left other brands or independents to join her firm in 2024, their production adds up to over 900 transaction sales. She continues, “we are excited to continue to be the destination for serious, career minded agents who value the brand and are eager to grow their business.”

Along with recruiting, acquisitions, and new companies, Coldwell Banker affiliate operations retained $1.2 billion of sales volume across 17 companies in Q3, bringing the 2024 totals to $4.6 billion of sales volume retained across 48 companies for the year so far, emphasizing the importance of our long-term franchisee relationships.

Coldwell Banker Adds First-Time Locations Globally

The third quarter saw an additional 28 new locations in ten different countries open, two of which were openings in first-time locations for the brand. Highlights below:

• Coldwell Banker Argentina led the quarter with a dominating eight new companies, located in chic areas of Buenos Aires such as Palermo, all the way to the city of Mendoza, in the wine region of Argentina.
• Coldwell Banker St. Barth opened in October. This is the first time the brand will have an office on the luxurious French Caribbean Island, and it is the result of a collaborative effort between Coldwell Banker Island Affiliates and Coldwell Banker France & Monaco. Broker-owner Gabriel Montigny also opened Coldwell Banker St. Barth Azur, located in Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer in Provence, France.
• Coldwell Banker Canada welcomed its largest conversion, Coldwell Banker Executives Realty, a 150+ agent brokerage of nine offices based in Vernon, British Columbia
• Coldwell Banker Tanzania & Zanzibar launched its operations with a residential office, Coldwell Banker Islemark Realty, and Coldwell Banker Commercial Blueridge, both location in Stone Town, Zanzibar.
