Coldwell Banker Tanzania & Zanzibar, January 31

Coldwell Banker Tanzania and Zanzibar kicked off the year with a highly successful grand opening event attended by 80 industry professionals. The gathering, held at the Coldwell Banker Islemark Realty office, featured Sharif Ali Sharif, Minister of State in the President’s Office (Labour, Economy and Investment), as the Guest of Honour. The panel discussion, moderated by Gina Washington, CEO of Coldwell Banker Tanzania and Zanzibar, included insights from Miguel Pilgram, CEO & Founder of Pilgram Group International (PGI), and Walid from Al Hussein Construction. The event fostered meaningful discussions on the real estate sector’s future in the region. Coldwell Banker Islemark Realty is the first office for the region on the island of Zanzibar, and the brand’s flagship office in East Africa.

Coldwell Banker UAE, February 22

Celebrating two decades of excellence, Coldwell Banker UAE hosted a grand event in Ras Al Khaimah with 196 attendees. The event featured keynote speeches from Managing Director Ayman Youssef, Mohamed Magdy, the number one agent in the UAE in 2024, and CEO Hesham El Far, who highlighted the company’s achievements and future plans. The celebration marked a significant milestone for Coldwell Banker UAE, reflecting on its journey and envisioning the next chapter of growth and innovation.

Coldwell Banker Egypt, February 23

The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Cairo was the venue for Coldwell Banker Egypt’s event, which celebrated the company’s 2024 achievements and recognized top producers. With an impressive turnout of 1,300 attendees, the event featured speeches from prominent figures including Mohamed Abdallah, Chairman of Coldwell Banker Egypt, and Karim Zein, CEO of Coldwell Banker Egypt. Other notable speakers included Yasser Barkouky, owner of Coldwell Banker HUB, Hussein Younis of Coldwell Banker New Alex, Assad Abdel Hakim, owner of Coldwell Banker Gate, and Ahmed El Gamil, CEO of Coldwell Banker Stellar. These leaders were among the first franchises to join the franchise and capitalize program, marking a significant step in the company’s expansion strategy. Additionally, Coldwell Banker Core, led by Amir Sobhy and Andrew Emad, was recognized as the top-performing franchise in sales volume, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to excellence and growth.

Kait McMurdo

Kaitlin McMurdo has served as the Director of Global Service for Coldwell Banker since January 2020. Through her tenure, the existing global network has doubled in office and agent footprint and expanded into Chile, Paraguay and Saudi Arabia. She has also supported the global networks for Better Homes & Gardens, Corcoran, and ERA Real Estate. Prior to her current role, McMurdo worked for the premiere New York City New Development sales and marketing firm, Corcoran Sunshine, which sold over $20 billion of real estate during her time. At Corcoran Sunshine, she managed new business, cross-portfolio initiatives and creative sales initiatives for the top-selling developments in Manhattan and Brooklyn. Before joining the real estate industry, McMurdo worked primarily in corporate event planning and hospitality, combining her love of working with people and the food and beverage industry. She received her BA from American University in International Business with a minor in French language. She is very proud Philadelphia-area native (Go Birds) who has resided in New York City for 15 years, predominantly in “the World’s Borough”, Queens. In her free time she loves to cook, explore NYC, and of course, travel the world.
